Position Summary:


One of the leading Financial Services Companies in the world is looking for a Procurement professional who will be responsible for delivering procurement services and contract administration related to capital projects, facilities management, and technology contracts in the Americas. In addition, responsibilities include working with and managing the direct interface with other departments, including Legal (internal and external counsel) and procurement colleagues.


 


Principal Responsibilities:



  • Work with managers to develop sourcing strategies that support delivery of their business requirements.

  •  Coordinate with departments to assist with the sourcing process including management of the vendor evaluation and recommendation process.

  •  Coordinate with internal stakeholders to review, address and negotiate comments relating to RFP’s.

  •  Coordinate policy and procedural steps and work with Legal department toward the drafting, review and negotiation of contracts related to architecture, engineering, and construction services.

  • Draft and revise existing contracts required to support business operations.

  • Create contract summaries and assist project management team with contract interpretations.

  • Ensure consistent Service Level Agreements, performance indicators, cost models and contract types are applied as appropriate across vendors.

  • Manage vendors supporting projects to ensure policies and procedures are followed, background checks are performed, established rates and contract terms are adhered to.

  • Develop and maintain vendor relationships and coordinate with other stakeholders.

  • Prepare monthly reports detailing procurement activities with regards to diversity spend, actual vendor spend, etc.

  • Support deployment and administration of divisional vendor management program and procedures.


 


Experience/Skills:


 



  • Minimum Bachelor Degree.

  • 5-8 years relevant experience in sourcing, supply chain management, contract administration and management with background in Capital Projects, and/or Facilities Management fields.

  • Relevant industry qualifications or accreditations (e.g. ISM, CPSM, CPM etc.).

  •  Knowledge of the financial services industry preferred.

  • Procurement background in capital projects or facilities management preferred, with ability to assess risks.

  • Proficient in the use of eProcurement (Frictionless, Ariba or other automated sourcing tools).

  • Proficient with the suite of Microsoft Office software and other computer skills.

  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, administrative skills, and organizational skills.

  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills with track record of achieving results.

  •  Strong sense of teamwork and ability create partnerships within the organization.

  • Strategic thinker with strong implementation and leadership abilities.

  • Strong commercial skills and business ethics.

  • Ability to work closely with project team.
